"Should I arrange food for the people I hire at my wedding?"
Its a question we are hearing more and more. Its one that some people may be a little embarrassed to ask, so let us help you make an informed decision.
Providing food and or drink for the people you hire at your wedding may be a nice little extra for them. It also may benefit you with regards having them staying at your venue and not having to leave to find the nearest restaurant, pub or fast food joint. Think mainly about these two points:
1. How long will your hired staff be with you? Have you hired them for just a few hours or for all of your day? This may help you decide.
2. Your location. If your venue is miles from anywhere your Photographers, Videographers or other such staff may have to venture out for some time on their lunch break. If you are providing nibbles in-house for them, this will give them more time to spend with you and ensure that no special moments are missed. It may be at a small cost worth paying.
Of course, if still in doubt simply ask the companies your are hiring or have hired if they require / would like food providing. Only few companies will require this of you and most will think of it as a nice gesture.
