Everybody thinks that all weddings have the same "boring" format and cliches. But that doesn't have to be the case! You can do many little things for no (or very little) extra cost, to make your special day even more personalised and memorable; both for you and your guests!
1. The Invitations:
Why not consider doing a short "Video Blog" style YouTube video invitation for your guests? Pop the link to your video on your traditional posted invites so that your guests can log-on before the big day and see what exciting things you have in store for them on your wedding day, hosted by you!
2. Personalise the Service:
If you can, why not include readings during your service of something memorable that is personal and means a lot to you, your partner and maybe even family & friends too. Poems, Stories, Songs etc all go towards making your big day even more about you!
3. Table Plan:
Stuck with the impossible task of table planning? Well, we cant help too much with that, BUT why not consider ditching the traditional boring table numbers 1, 2, 3 4 etc and replace them with Table Names. Name each table after memorable Places that mean something to you both, maybe the place you met, place of your first date, where you proposed etc. Or other place names like favourite holiday destinations, movies, song titles, the list is almost endless!
4. Share those Special Moments:
Got old video tapes and photo albums from years gone by? Bring them back to life for all your friends and family to enjoy (and maybe even have a good laugh at) one more time. Old videos and photos can also make for a great addition to your evenings entertainment. 5. Guest Book & Video Messages:
Another great way of remembering your big day is to get your guests to leave a short message in a Guest Book.
